Sawmill’s Rec Golf is geared to golf enthusiasts from beginner to intermediate levels.  Our primary goal is to elevate your understanding and proficiency of golf fundamentals, ensuring a lasting enjoyment of the sport.    

Whether you're gathering with friends, co-workers, couples, or parent-teen duos, everyone is invited to be a part of this golf experience.  The program includes four fantastic 50-minute instructional practice sessions and eight twilight green fee passes.   

But wait, there's more! We're keeping it cozy with only 48 players in the league, ensuring a personalized experience with a maximum of 8 players per lesson session.  And why stop at eight weeks playing the course when you can make every Monday a golf day?  Rec Golf is the place to be—where practice meets play, and every Monday is a chance to tee off into a week of golfing joy!  

THE FOUR LESSONS 

• Kevin Niznik, PGA of Canada professional, will lead the program instruction.    
• The group lessons will focus on a different aspect of the game: setup fundamentals, putting, short game (chipping/bunkers), and full swing.  While we encourage you to choose one of each, you can tailor the lessons to your needs.  For example, if you really need help with your putting, you can choose four putting lessons!
• After registering, please email jeremy@sawmillgolf.com to choose your four lessons (select two in April/May/June and two in July/August).
• Lesson Locations: Sawmill's Driving Range, Short Game Practice Area, or Putting Green.

THE GOLF

• The green fee passes are valid on Mondays after 3pm.  They can be used April 29^th through October.  Not transferable.
• Additional rounds are $27 (walking rate) and payable in the Pro Shop. 
• You’ll receive priority tee time access, up to 6 days in advance beginning at 7am.  Tee times must be booked online at www.sawmillgolf.com/book-now.  Players will receive login details for online booking. 
• Year-end 9 Hole Golf Event on Monday, September 23^rd.  *Details will be announced in summer.  

REGISTRATION 

*2025 registration link will be posted here in early February.  Date TBA.  

League Fee: $325 (tax included) – includes four 50 minute instructional practice sessions, range balls (during lessons), and eight twilight green fee passes. 

• Registrations will be received on a first come, first serve basis.  Maximum of 48 players. 
• You will receive an automated email confirming your registration. 
• We will email the Google Doc to select your lessons after registering (by mid-February). 
• All players must sign the Sawmill Golf Course Waiver before participating.
