The Friday Couples’ League is designed for players (Sawmill members and guests) to play in a weekly golf league with an emphasis on fun and socializing!  We encourage couples of any ability to play and all players have an opportunity to win great prizes.

League Format and Prizes

• Friday Couples’ will play every Friday afternoon from May 2^nd to September 19^th (21 weeks).
• Tee times for the league will be reserved from 12:30 – 2pm (18 holes) and 4 – 6pm (9 holes).
• Tee times and playing partners will change on a weekly basis within the reserved times, so that you can meet new people.  Tee times must be booked online, up to 7 days in advance.
• Priority registration will be given to returning members.  New couples will only be accepted, if space permits within the reserved times.
• We will award weekly prizes (Pro Shop gift certificates) for the Game of the Week and various course contests.  We will also award prizes to the lucky winners of random draws. 
• All money collected as prize fees will be returned to the players as gift certificates.
• All gift certificates will be added to your profile in the Sawmill computer system.
• The format will change weekly with a variety of fun games to:
  1. Make the game enjoyable for both new golfers and experienced golfers
  2. Give everyone a chance to win prizes                                                                
  NOTE: Weekly Games may include: Count Your Putts, Guess Your Score, Hidden Holes, Scramble, Best Ball, Alternate Shot, Chapman, Coloured Ball, etc.
• After golf, enjoy dinner and drinks on the patio or in the clubhouse.

League Fees (HST included in all fees)

1)  Entry Fee: $50 per couple (payable online starting Monday, December 2^nd)
2)  Weekly Fees:   a) League Members: $42.50 per person (18 hole Green Fees & Prizes)
                              b) League Members: $30.50 per person (9 hole Green Fees after 4pm & Prizes)
                              c) Sawmill Members: $2.50 per person (Prizes)

Practice Weeks  

All registered league players are welcome to play practice rounds on weekdays in April, once the golf course opens (weather permitting).  Green fees will be $28 for 9 holes or $40 for 18 holes for league players (any time of day).  Please book tee times.

Year-End Dinner & Prize Presentation

Friday, September 26^th.  3:30pm shotgun.  9 holes, dinner, and a prize presentation.  Details will be announced later in the season.
